Liverpool have had a mixed pre-season so far and it is only about to get tougher as they face Barcelona in the International Champions Cup this weekend. The Reds enjoyed an impressive 2-0 win over AC Milan last week but that has been book-ended by defeats to Chelsea and Roma.
The performance against the Italians was so bad manager Jurgen Klopp had to confirm that his side had bothered to train beforehand.
Barcelona beat Celtic in their first game in this tournament before they play Leicester City on Wednesday in Stockholm, Sweden.
When is Liverpool v Barcelona? The game takes place on Saturday August 6th with kick-off at 17.15 BST.
Where is the match being played? Liverpool and Barcelona will meet at Wembley Stadium so there will be home advantage of sorts for the Reds.

The preview was a sneak peek of Luc Besson's upcoming sci-fi film, Valerian and The City of a Thousand Planets, based on the French comic series Valérian and Laureline, which stars Dane DeHaan and Cara Delevingne as interstellar special agents. And, yup, Rihanna's in it too, playing a dancer in an alien bar run by Ethan Hawke. The chart-topping singer's introduction came when DeHaan requests a "retro" girl at Hawke's club and is sat down for a private show as a bowler-wearing dancer appears on stage, straddling a chair, Vulture reports.

But by all means, it was only a tease and the video cut before things could really heat up. But according to DeHaan, Rihanna's role is apparently jaw dropping. Valerian is due out next summer. Ahead of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games next month, Katy Perry has unleashed yet another inspirational anthem upon the world. The track "Rise" marks the artist's first release of new music since her 2013 album Prism, which itself featured the rousing likes of "Roar" as its lead single. "When, when the fire's at my feet again/And the vultures all start circling/They're whispering, 'you're out of time'/ But still I rise," she sings. The track will tie-in with NBC's coverage of the games, with Perry announcing its release on her own Twitter; though this isn't any hint as to a possible upcoming album, with the pop star intending the song entirely to be a one-off piece of music to commemorate the Games.
"This is a song that’s been brewing inside me for years, that has finally come to the surface. I was inspired to finish it now, rather than save it for my next album, because now more than ever, there is a need for our world to unite," Perry said in a statement (via Billboard). "I know that together we can rise above the fear – in our country, and around the world." "I can’t think of a better example than the Olympic athletes, as they gather in Rio with their strength and fearlessness, to remind us how we ALL can come together, with the resolve to be the best we can be. I hope this song can inspire us to heal, unite, and rise together. I am honored that NBC Olympics has chosen to use it as an anthem before and during the Rio Games." Artwork for the track has also been released, a moody piece, featuring Perry rising out of the waters; alongside a brief snippet of the song (found Perry's Twitter), which very much sees the singer in her usual power anthem mode.
Manchester United home kit for 2016/17 season revealed
Manchester United's home kit for the 2016/17 season has been revealed online. The new red adidas shirt is not set to be officially released until United arrive in China for their pre-season tour next week. It will go on sale on July 23.
But it appears to have been sent out early to fans all over the world - including one in Kuwait. It will be the second home shirt adidas have released since signing a deal to supply United's kit in July 2014.
They have already announced a new blue away shirt ahead of next season.
Sportswear giant adidas took over from Nike as United's official kit manufacturer from the beginning of last season in a 10-year deal worth £750m.
One of the few people in Australia with her eyeballs tattooed says she is shocked the procedure has been regulated and is concerned about the ramifications.
The Baird Government has come under fire for regulating the practice of eyeball tattooing. The New South Wales Opposition called for a ban on the procedure, saying eyeball inking was effectively legalised when it was included in several health amendments enacted last Friday. The Government said all skin piercing procedures should be regulated, but is considering banning this particular procedure. Kylie Garth is a tattoo artist and piercer in Perth and had her eyeballs tattooed three years ago in Melbourne by one of the few known artists, Luna Cobra. "We don't even have gay marriage, but you're legalising an eyeball tattoo, why is this even happening?" she told the ABC. "The health department has been 'yeah this is cool', it means any piercer can do it. "It's the top of body modification. It's nothing like tattooing, it's not a machine, it's very different, it's extreme ... it's dangerous."
Garth, who has worked alongside Cobra when clients undergo the procedure, said it was a rarely practiced, specialised technique, and there were many risks involved. "I haven't heard of anyone going blind like the mod community [but] I'm sure backyard people have done it and maybe caused too much pressure or gone into the wrong part," she said. "There [are] so many risks ... what about someone using a dirty needle, or the wrong kind of stuff?" Cobra has been credited for pioneering the procedure and travels the world performing body modification. He weighed in on the regulation debate, saying there are bigger health issues to be addressed. He told the ABC he has eye-tattooed fewer than 10 people in Australia since 2007. "You know this is a rouse ... it's absolutely ridiculous, there's so many other problems facing Australian public health and we're talking about something one person who does it per year."
'People are blind from eyeball tattooing'
Cobra warns on his website he is the inventor of eyeball tattooing and has "not trained anyone else to do this procedure".
He writes he has inspired many copycats and because of that "people are now blind from eyeball tattooing". Eyeball tattooing involves injecting the whites of the eyes with coloured dye or dyes. Garth said she liked the aesthetics and there was "never a risk factor" with Cobra. But she said the experience was scary, like undergoing a medical procedure or extreme sports. "I liken it to skydiving — I knew it was safe, but it's always scary," she said. "But it wasn't very painful, it felt like a bit of pressure then slight irritation. It's less painful than plucking your eyebrows." A fan of modification, Garth has also had her tongue split, ears pointed, scarification and other modifications to her body. Eyeball inking is permanent, she said. "That is why it's so intense. When you go to Luna for the procedure, he'll be like 'what kind of job do you do, will this affect you later in life?' "He's patient and makes you think. But just a piercer doing it, with no outlook on life goals, that's dangerous."
